Description: This is the required security training course that has replaced 2954 Securing Drinking Water and Wastewater Facilities.  Security and cybersecurity need to be an on-going priority in the water industry due to the potential public health impacts that could result from a security breach.  This course provides operators of water and wastewater systems with a description of the importance of implementing security measures, along with a breakdown of a system’s assets, potential threats, vulnerabilities, basic overview of cybersecurity, and the components of an emergency response plan.
